Mentor: Dr. Shantenu Jha
At CCT, Ashley is currently developing a web-based interface for the SLIR model of disease propagation. The interface allows end-users to specify the properties of the disease they would like to simulate. The progress of the disease is displayed via a custom Google Maps interface, along with related graphs and statistics. Ashley's main research interests are in biological computing and data visualization. She is also interested in genetic algorithms, optimization problems, and methods of dynamically generating content.
